This is it, still build up at the vendor:
What you can see on the photos below is, that the loom is painted. The edges at the side parts have a vertical cut that's painted with a reddish brown colour. At four of the treadles are the numbers from 1 to 4 and there's a wooden ball on top of the warping reel also painted with the red-brown colour.
On top of the batten there's a bouquet of flowers painted. In german the style is called "Bauernmalerei".
I guess loom and warping reel must have been gifts to a bride, but only with 4 harnesses and 4 treadles. The other 6 treadles have a definetly lighter colour and also breastbeam, kneebeam and the one at the backside of the loom are lighter in colour. There are only four old pairs of harnesses, the other 6 are brandnew.
The yellow lamps may be build in in the '70s of the last century, because of their style.
